We also enjoy the pizza that you can order at the Reef, a fast foodish dinner in the middle of the casino. The new tower rooms are the most modern but most are still decent. You will probably see a deer or an eagle. You bet and lose and who’s fault is it? Other high points at Island include the Sweet Grass Golf Course…18 holes of sand, hills, ponds and great scenery. I have noticed the One Star reviews from gamblers who bet the ranch and lost. That being said we might stay there 2-4 nights per year. I have not paid for a room on my last 5-6 visits. Island is fairly generous with comps if you are a repeat visitor. They serve a great breaakfast and are open for lunch and dinner. There is also a Fire Keepers restaurant located near the elevators.
They take reservations for groups over 5 people.
There is also a nice cocktail bar to enjoy your favorite beverage prior to dinner. Horizions has a very upscale feel and the menu offers premium steaks and sea food. We really appreciate the recent improvements including the water park and Horizons Resturant on the 12th floor of the newest addition overlooking Sweet Grass Golf Course. We have enjoyed visiting Island Resort and Casino over the years.
